Events in this part of the world begin around February and continue throughout the year until October or November.
And even going beyond some of these destinations with famous Pride events, a number of smaller Southern communities hold well-attended, fun, and spirited Pride events, from Charlottesville to Athens to Lexington. With some of the largest and most dynamic LGBTQ communities in the country, Florida and the states that make up the South-Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky-are also home to many of the largest LGBTQ Pride festivals in the country.
